Sloe Jack enters “BEAST MODE” to introduce the deluxe version of his debut album, BACKSTAB.

The artist unveils new music, new visuals, new announcements and more.

Reviving the fire set ablaze by his debut album, BACKSTAB, back in October 2022, the uprising punk meets hip-hop artist Sloe Jack adds new kindling with the release of its deluxe version almost a year later—with his gritty new single, “BEAST MODE” rising to the surface. In the same feisty tongue with which he scored his debut, Sloe Jack returns with even more angst to deliver punching tracks that are not only fuelled by his talent, but also his influence.

“This album encapsulates the behaviours and events that I've grappled with since a young age,” the artist explains. “I delve into my challenging childhood, which eventually led to a life marked by self-sabotage and mistakes. The album narrates my journey of personal growth, highlighting the transformative process I underwent to break free from those patterns and make positive changes for myself.”

Never has this felt more potent than within the biting bars of “BEAST MODE” which – true to its namesake – showcase Sloe Jack at his most creatively confident. More to the point, he explains, “‘BEAST MODE’ is a reminder that even when life throws its worst at us, we have the power to rise above, to redefine our destinies. It's about turning adversity into strength, despair into determination. Through this song, I want to share the message that no matter where you come from or what you've been through, there's always a path to transformation and victory.” More determined than ever to combine thumping baselines with poignant messages, “BEAST MODE” is just one exemplar of Sloe Jack’s unique approach to songwriting—one that harmonises anger and peace, troubles and triumphs; the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful.

Not only is BACKSTAB (DELUXE) available to stream now, but also the fish-eye view visual of the leading single. And, as if that wasn’t enough, you can catch Sloe Jack IRL at SchoolNight in LA on September 18th. One things for sure, Sloe Jack will continue to bring the heat…
